N ° 4 Monolithic cylindrical tanks with single wall with vertical axis, resting on legs with feet
adjustable, with conical bottom in the center. The single tank will be built with first choice sheet metal
in AISI 316 stainless steel double finish 2B (SMOOTH), joined at the ends with butt welds.
The cylindrical body consists of ferrules of adequate thickness, calculated on the basis of the hydrostatic thrust
to which the tank is subject.
The roof is of the truncated cone-edged type, complete with an upper manhole cover with a diameter of 400.
The welds will be performed with the T.I.G. at full penetration.
Subsequently they will be pickled, passivated and satin finished in order to regenerate the characteristics
originating from the material, on the welded area.
The tank will be equipped with thermo-conditioned pockets in channels used for cooling. There
pocket is built with helical spiral ducts development 80 x 15 pitch 200 x final H 3.000
mm.
The pocket will be equipped with two 1 ”sleeves for cold water inlet and outlet and will be tested
at a pressure of 5Bar.
Approximately 26 liters of water circulate in 6 linear meters of helical spiral.
